Who Likes Championship Manager?

Go on admit it, if you are into football as much as most people visiting this site I bet you have played at least one version of the old ChampMan!

How many of you have wasted an hour or two (whilst meant to be working if you are like me) wondering how you can get the best out of a Newcastle team that is underperforming? (I bet Sir Bobby, rest his soul, did it regularly, only in real-life!).

Well our friends/enemies at Betfred have come up with a nice little game based around the best selling PC title which, after trying, I think is pretty good fun.

Mr Betfred explains it as:

Championship Manager World Challenge is a football management and betting game based on Eidos Interactive’s award-winning title Championship Manager, where you choose a team and take that team through group and knockout stages all the way to the World Challenge Final! On the way, you can choose to play friendly matches until you’re ready to play in the World Challenges themselves. You can change your team formation and mentality and you can place bets on not only the outcome of each match but on the correct score result too. After each match, your team will earn you 'experience points' which mean that your chances of beating your next opponent will be higher. Given plenty of practice and sound management, you could even win the World Challenge with Honduras! You can play for as long or as little as you like without losing your progress as you can choose to save your game status at any time.

If you fancy having a bit of fun try the game out HERE
